California is one of the largest states in the U.S. (after Alaska and Texas followed, in size) and is called the Golden State, a name that originates from the gold fever that occurred in 1849. Very few miners have not been able to do nothing more than to become unemployed, but those who have provided materials have become very wealthy miners.

California is on the west coast of the United States and is one of the most visited places on the planet. Capital has shifted over time but is now in Sacramento, located in the center of the state.

California coast has a Mediterranean climate and has attracted such a large population and successfully used political means, especially in the southern region (Los Angeles in particular) to redirect water resources from both northern and other countries to serve thirsty population. Los Angeles is the most populous city in California and is located in the southern half of the state. Generally considered one of the most liberal places on the planet, the Gulf also boasts the Silicon Valley, home to a host of advanced technology companies and adventurous capitalists and Stanford University legacy capitalist titan and former California governor, Leland Stanford.

San Diego is in the southern end of the state and offers good beaches and water sports. It is home to the submarine fleet on the west coast of the United States Navy. There are many things to do for families in San Diego, including World Marina, Mission San Diego by Acala and Wildlife Park. Avoid San Diego Zoo, world famous, unless you like the congestion and prefer not to see wild animals nearby. Although there is a package available that will offer a subscription for all three parks, Wildlife Park, San Diego Zoo and Marine World. It should not be used in a single day, but is still slightly cheaper than if you had to pay for the three individually. San Diego Zoo has some wonderful exhibits, even if they are huge crowds, and if the pandas came out from the rest of the zoo crowds tend to be quieter and smaller. Rounding the buses are also a nice garden to make a circuit.

Southern California is also known for its theme parks: Disneyland, California Adventure, Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios and more. These are very interesting places to visit, and continues to bring millions of tourists every year. If you go to Disney, always use your tickets fast for popular racing program. If you go to Universal, bite the bullet and get VIP permisuri – you go through all the popular attractions in a single morning – otherwise prepare to wait 2 hours for each attraction.

Some of the most beautiful places for hiking and other outdoor activities are Lake Tahoe, Mono Lake and Yosemite High Sierra. Because it comes from the Mexican border in South and Pacific Northwest from northern California has one of the most diverse climates in all American states. If you can bear the heat trying to explore one of the many deserts of California and Death Valley. On the opposite spectrum of climate, tropical coniferous forests of the North Coast is a true sight to behold and offers a very different vision of a beautiful state.
