5 Star Luxury Villingili Resort and Spa in Maldives

Villingili Resort ┬áis one of the islands inhabited by Gaafu Alif Atoll. It is located at the northeastern edge of the Atoll Huvadu. Traditionally, this island is also known as “Atoll Huvadu Vilingili”. Once, Vilingili boat owners used to decorate their fishing boats, with rich and varied decorative patterns. This practice was discontinued in 1970.

Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa will feature a series of 142 villas, including two presidential villas.
The island is also notable for having the highest natural elevation in the Maldives, an anonymous place about 2.4 meters / 8 feet above sea level.
